Hey, I’m Lena.
I’m a certified holistic coach, a single mom, and the type of person who understand the importance of reading peer-reviewed articles. I started Concepts of Health because I was tired of wellness advice that was either oversimplified, sponsored by whoever paid the most, or completely disconnected from what real life actually looks like.
Real life looks like wanting to take care of yourself but not having three hours to meal prep on Sunday or Googling “how to stay healthy with a lack of sleep” at 2am, while getting too many answers. I did find good advice on this topic and implemented into my life. Most of the information I write about are already added to my routine.
I decided to start a blog because I have answers for my friends and wanted to share it will all of you now too.
What You’ll Find Here
This site is where I share what I’ve learned — the stuff that actually works, backed by evidence, explained in plain English. That includes:
- Supplement guides with specific brands, dosages, and the science behind each one
- Nutrition advice that fits into a life with kids, deadlines, and a budget
- Honest product reviews — I only recommend what I personally use and trust
No miracle cures. Just what the research shows, filtered through the lens of someone who actually lives this every day.
A Note on Trust
Some posts on this site contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy something through my link — at no extra cost to you. I will never recommend a product I don’t personally use.
I’m not a doctor. I’m a nutrition professional and a mom who reads a lot of studies. Always talk to your healthcare provider before making changes to your supplement routine or diet.
